In our first episode, we begin with Courtney Shaw-Scipio, Founder of , whose story of resilience has led her to build a thriving business that not only brings the vision of her late mother to life, but enables her to use her talents to impact the lives of others. Courtney and Arian discuss resilience and explain their tools for pushing through. So even to this day, I keep a gratitude list.”

Courtney emphasizes her method for re-centering herself when the going gets tough. “I go back and I remember: So what’s my why?”

Arian advises finding your “why” as well, adding: “It has to be something bigger than you, or when the obstacles do come, you will check out, because things just happen. It’s life and your panic is so much in your perspective.”

Listen to episode one to learn more from Courtney and Arian, and continue to tune in to hear stories and anecdotes about businesses just like yours.
