We’re heading back to DMEXCO in Cologne, Germany to join leaders in digital marketing and show businesses how to connect with customers on our platforms. On September 12 and 13, we'll host training sessions, offer one-to-one support and join advertising experts and pioneers in discussing the industry’s challenges and opportunities. This year, we’re focused on helping businesses discover the power of stories to connect with customers in immersive and entertaining ways. We'll also share how businesses are using messaging to communicate with customers at scale and video ads to reach people in more engaging ways. Here are some highlights.

Blueprint Training

Join our Blueprint Training sessions on video ads and Messenger. We'll share creative tips for optimizing your video ads for the way people consume video content on mobile. And you'll learn how to get started with Messenger to connect with your customers at scale and drive discovery through click-to-message ads.

Story School

Stories are where your customers share and discover things they love, so it’s important to understand how your business can use this format effectively. Master creative basics and practice advanced stories techniques in an interactive session taught by Facebook’s Creative Shop. After the class, you'll have a chance to show off your stories skills in an interactive installation at our booth.

Take C.A.R.E. - Driving Change through Curiosity, Action, Responsibility and Experiences

Facebook’s Managing Director of Central Europe Martin Ott will join a panel of industry executives to discuss our shared responsibility to increase transparency in advertising. The session will cover the steps leaders in the digital space are taking to act responsibly and bridge the gap between innovation and socially-conscious business practices.

Living in a Vertical World

People come to Instagram to get inspired and discover things they care about, which includes content from businesses. In this session, Instagram’s Head of Business & Media Jim Squires will discuss the evolution of how people create, consume and share content on Instagram, and the opportunities this creates for marketers with formats like Instagram Stories and business tools like Shopping. He'll provide examples of businesses big and small that are leading the way on the platform and will share a sneak peek of what’s next for Instagram.
