New Ways For Groups and Brands to Collaborate

Facebook Business

When people want to find new ways to engage with their interests, learn new things, be entertained and make new connections, they go to Groups on Facebook. At the heart of these Groups are the admins who invest time and energy in maintaining these communities. We want those communities to be able to connect and collaborate with brands that mean something to them, so today we’re starting to expand Brand Collabs Manager (BCM) to include Public Groups.

Brand Collabs Manager is a marketplace that enables brands looking to promote their products and services to find and connect with creators. Through the relationship they have with their group members, admins can then collaborate on campaigns to help increase their engagement. Launched in 2018, BCM makes it easy for creators and public figures to get discovered for paid partnerships and unlock the earning potential of their Facebook or Instagram presence.

As we start to make BCM available to Public groups in the coming weeks, brands will be able to connect with relevant audiences in spaces people trust and actively engage in, and group admins will also have an opportunity to earn money to support their work to manage engaged communities.

Facebook has built tools across different surfaces to help individuals and organizations generate reliable revenue that's sustainable over time, and we’re excited to launch a set of tools that will enable group admins to create branded content. All branded content partnerships will be disclosed to members in a manner that is in compliance with our Branded Content Policies.

We’re starting with Public Groups and will continue to evaluate other ways that we can help Public and Private group admins serve their communities.
